On this occasion, we payed extra for Red Carpet and a Hot Seat, providing lounge access, priority boarding, priority baggage and a seat in row 1. ^ We booked seats in business class on an A320 for this flight with Vietnam Airlines. However, at check-in we were informed that an ATR-72 was flying instead, a one-class plane thus we were downgraded to economy class (given $50 compensation and allowed lounge access) |
